The wrestling world was shocked last month Benjamin “Puck” Satterlee’s untimely death due to bronchial asthma. Fans and industry people took to social media to share their grief together. AEW held on to pay tribute to his memory and other advances recognized Satterlee’s death. A video was put together by his good friend Kevin Owens featuring the WWE talent.
during the interview “Insight” with Chris Van VlietUndisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn has explained why he decided not to post anything about Pac’s death on social media. He was worried Van Vliet was going to ask about Satterlee and said he didn’t know what to say.
“I couldn’t post anything, I didn’t post anything because what you even say in the tweet, you know what I mean. “Hey, this guy was like a brother to me, who I traveled the world with, who I grew up with.” Like this bond, it’s hard to say what these bonds mean. And then I have to tweet it or like an Instagram post with 10 out of hundreds of pictures; do you know what i mean? None of that will do justice.”
He also said he’s a bit of a perfectionist, and Satterlee was the same way. He feels it’s impossible to pay tribute to their friendship, but also feels guilty for not publishing anything.
“I’m starting to go down this road of ‘who is this for?’ Who needs to know? I know, and important people know, you know what I mean? People around us, his wife, his mother, me, my wife, my wife was also very close to him, he is deeply affected by it. All our close friends, all the guys we came up with, he meant something different to everyone. So you’re allowed to just have it.”
