WWE veteran and third generation talent Natty Neidhart not a fan of improvement games (a game that helps a promotion show up to an opponent by getting a quick easy win against a would-be opponent). Although he’s been on both sides during his tenure, Natty argues against them, saying that if they don’t matter (like if there’s no substance behind the game, it doesn’t make for a nice win, etc.), then what’s the point of having them?
“If you’re going to win that game, you’ve got to win one that means something. Otherwise, who cares if you win,” said the former SmackDown Women’s Champion. “Lost Open Radio”. “That’s why I really don’t like extra matches, and that’s my own ice cream flavor. I just don’t like them because extra matches like, you know, sometimes you see local/extra talent play someone and you know, well, we all know how that’s going to go. wrestling doesn’t mean anything, your winning doesn’t mean anything.”
Natty’s comments stem from a conversation between him and Busted Open host Dave LaGreca regarding Roman Reigns’ upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match with the LA Knight. Money in the bank. Ahead of Saturday’s title fight, many seem to already know the outcome, but are concerned about how this matchup will affect Knight’s main roster status. The Quiet Legend claims that this match, regardless of how it goes, is in Knight’s favor as it will help raise his status in the company.
“The magic of the novel is that it helps elevate the person with whom it works. No matter what the outcome, everyone is high. Everybody wins,” Natty declared.
