WWE’s Bronson Reed Feels He Has A Bigger ‘Gas Tank’ After Physical Transformation

Bronson Reed is back in WWE and has done so in both large and slimmer form. Indeed, the Aussie star and Vision member came back 100 pounds lighter than when he sat out the winter with a biceps injuryand is quite happy with his new look for several reasons. On appearance “Western Sport”, Reed listed some of those reasons, starting with his smaller frame allowing him to do more in the ring and now having more energy than he had.

“I think for me, I’ve always been able to have a pretty good gas tank for a big guy,” Reed said. “I walk around and I can follow 15-minute games and stuff like that. But now, getting into the upper echelon of things, I’ve worked with people like Roman Reigns, champions and stuff like that. And I want to stay at the top of the main event scene.

“Now you’ll be able to see me go through 20- to 25-minute matches without blowing up, or even questioning the fact, like, ‘Oh man, maybe because he’s bigger, he’s not going to be able to last that long.’ So I think that’s a big thing that I’ve noticed from working out at the Performance Center and being in the ring and stuff like that is that I just have a much better gas tank. But you are right. There are some tricks that are maybe off the top rope and different things that I can do now that I can use outside of my arsenal.”

Reed says the new look is better for overall health

Doing more moves or working a little longer in the ring wasn’t Reed’s only motivation to lose weight. Another important factor was that Reed sees the business as always changing, and he felt it was imperative that he return to WWE in a slightly different way than when he left. His look was the change he settled on.

“A lot is constantly evolving in this business,” Reid said. “And I think the way I could have looked different or developed during this time when I was injured was to change my appearance. So I’ve been really committed to my diet, strength and training here in Australia. And I think you’ll see the benefits of that when I get back.”

Reid admitted he was a little nervous about the change, as his ability to perform at a high level at his former size is something he felt set him apart from the rest of the roster. After all, Reid believes she can still stand out at these new sizes by doing more, while noting that being slimmer will benefit her health tremendously.

“I think those factors were always there to play, and me being as big as I was, that made me attractive,” Reid said. “You know, you get to see this huge guy move around the ring and do things that other people can’t do. But the same mindset is that I’ve been able to change myself to where I can now do other things that I couldn’t do before, and you’ll see new tricks from me now. And it’s better for my overall health as well as my joints and stuff.”
