WWE SmackDown Results 9/11 – Four Championships Up For Grabs, Paige Faces Nikki Bella

Welcome to Wrestling Inc. results for “WWE SmackDown” on September 11, 2026, coming to you live from Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.

CM Punk will be making a run for the Undisputed WWE Championship when he defends against Sami Zayn. Zayn caused the Undisputed Match between Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Gunther to happen on the August 28 episode of SmackDown when he interfered and left all three men plus Punk. Zayn then tried to help Johnny Gargano win the Undisputed WWE Championship this past Friday on SmackDown by hitting Punk with the Undisputed WWE Championship belt to get Gargano out, but Punk kicked out before a brawl broke out at ringside between Zayn, Balor, Gunther and Owens.

Nia Jax of The Irresistible Forces will challenge Chelsea Green for her Interim Women’s Championship. Jax and Legend confronted Green last Friday as Green and the SmackDown General Manager talked to a doctor about whether or not Green was healed. The doctor confirmed that Green had been medically cleared as long as she was wearing a face mask to protect her previously broken orbital bone, but Jax stole Green’s face mask shortly after defeating Tiffany Stratton that same night.

Two AAA championships will be on the line tonight as Rey Phoenix defends his AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Ricky Saints in what will be his first televised defense since retaining WWE NXT star E.K. Prosperin on the August 25 episode of The Show. War Raiders’ Ivar and Erik will also make their AAA World Tag Team Championship debut on August 30 at AAA Ola De Calor after taking on Rey Americano and Los Americanos’ Bravo Americano as they defend against Damian Priest and R-Truth. The War Raiders, Truth, and Priest previously met in the ring in a Triple Threat Match on the August 14 episode of SmackDown, where Priest and Truth lost their then-WWE Tag Team Championship to current title holders Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga from MFT.

After unsuccessfully challenging Fatal Influence’s Jacey Jane on Aug. 28, Paige will return to action as she faces former girlfriend and bitter rival Nikki Bella. Nikki and her twin sister Brie Bella blindsided Paige in an attack after the trio participated in the Fatal Influence on Sunday, August 1 at WWE SummerSlam. Nikki has since blamed Paige for Brie’s injury at SummerSlam, and the two women have sent each other several messages over the past few weeks.

Additionally, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes have both been advertised to appear on tonight’s show.

We’re live with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcoming the audience home as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring, and we cut to a clip of what happened between him and Cody Rhodes last Sunday at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.

Orton asks Mexico what they want to talk about and says he wants to talk about Cody Rhodes. He says Rhodes showed the world who he is in Sunday Night’s Main Event and that he’s not a murderer, then calls Rhodes a good man. He says he doesn’t care if people think he’s a good person, then says that whoever comes between him and his 15th World Championship and who walks out tonight is making a statement as the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Ricky Saints then makes his way to the ring. Ray Phoenix follows.

The bell rings and Phoenix storms the Saints. She follows it up with an armdrag off the top rope and a dropkick to the Saints, then connects with a second hurricanrana on the Saints, but the Saints level Phoenix on the outside.

During the commercial break, the Saints toss Fenix back into the ring, then dropkicks her into the corner of the ring and puts a double ax handle on her from the middle rope. The Saints then drag Fenix over the ropes, but Fenix connects with a hurricanrana on the Saints and leaps off the top rope to take him back from the break before he connects with a muscle buster on him for the win.

A winner (and still is). Ray Phoenix

After the match, Phoenix extends his hand to Saints, but Saints refuses to shake it and leaves the ring.

Nikki Bella then makes her way to the ring. Paige follows.

Paige slides hot into the ring and the bell rings. Paige rains down right hands on Nikki and tosses her across the ring for a two count, then sends her crashing face first into one of the spine barricades and drives her boot into Nikki’s chest.

Paige throws Nikki onto the Spanish announce table and hits her in the head, but Nikki rolls Paige back into the ring for the win.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Williams shouts out Mexican soccer player Julian Quiñones, then says as Quinones scores goals in the net on the soccer field, he took Baron Corbin’s head and brought it into WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event. He says he might have to change his name from “Tricky Two Times” to “Tricky Two Titles” right around WWE Money In The Bank, then introduces Lil Yachty. Yachty shows up, but Williams just assumes he wants a bigger intro. He calls for the fans to give him his drum and gives a bigger introduction, but Yachty still doesn’t show up. Corbin drags the yacht into the ring and immediately runs to the back.

Williams and the official yacht check, but Corbin pops back up to break a kendo stick across Williams’ spine.

We then cut to Nick Aldis’ office where Gunther and Finn Balor get into a verbal confrontation as Dunnhausen lurks in the background. Balor watches GUNTHER right hand.

Back at ringside, The Irresistible Forces come out. Chelsea Greene and Tiffany Stratton are next.

The bell rings and the action immediately spills out of the ring. Jax sends Green crashing into the Spanish announce table, then backs him in and runs into the turnbuckles. Green slaps Jax, but Jax regains control and delivers a running senton to Green.

Green connects with a hurricanrana on Jax and lands a pair of double knees to the back of his neck, but Jax counters with a Fallaway Slam on Green. Legend looks to level Green with a right hand, but Stratton shoves Green out of the way and lands a right hand instead. Green sends Legend crashing into the ring post and sets up an An-Nia-Lator on him, but Green moves out of the way and gives him the Unprettier for the win.

Winner (and still): Chelsea Greene

Damian Crite and R-Truth then make their way to the ring. War Raiders follow.

The bell rings and The War Raiders go after Priest and Truth. Eric and Ivar shoot right hands to Truth’s spine, but Ivar and Priest tag and Priest fires right hands at Ivar. Priest levels the interfering Erik with a back elbow and gives Ivar a flat plane.

Priest runs over Ivar and Eric on the outside, but Eric slams Ivar into the Crit during the commercial break and tosses him back into the ring. Eric clotheslines Priest but Priest kicks out.

Ivar tags in and wears down Priest with a submission before Truth tags in again. The War Raiders then hit a double chokeslam on Truth for the win.

Winners (and still):

After the game, the Priest helps the truth. He then blindsides Truth with a clothesline and follows it into the South Heavenly.

We then go backstage to Fatal Impact and a verbal confrontation between Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. The fatal effect leaves, but Fleur tells Paxley that she still doesn’t trust her, and Bliss tells Paxley to give Fleur some more time.

We then go backstage and see Kathy Kelly getting to Ray Phoenix. Saints approaches Phoenix and shakes her hand after refusing to do so earlier tonight, but suddenly attacks her and leaves her lying.

Back at ringside, Sami Zayn comes out. CM Punk follows.

The bell rings and Punk flies out of the ring, diving through the middle rope to flatten Zayn. Punk throws Zayn back into the ring and fires right hands at him, then connects with a suplex on him. Zayn elbows Punk in the head and wears him down during the commercial break, then chops him in the chest in the corner and rains down right hands on him.

Zayn sends Punk’s left ankle bouncing off the ring twice and fires right hands at it. Punk responds by ripping off Zayn’s left wrist brace and then goes up for the GTS. Zayn locks in Punk’s knee and applies a figure-four leglock on him, but Punk rolls to the bottom rope and grabs it to break the hold.

Zayn kicks Punk in the chest but Punk kicks Zayn in the head to level him and sets up the GTS. Zayn avoids it and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Punk then goes for the pin but Punk kicks out. Zayn then delivers an explosive to Punk and calls for a Helluva Kick, but Punk levels Zayn with a clothesline and gives him the GTS. He crawls to Zayn to pin him, but Zayn has enough time to recover and kick out.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRay come to the ring to shoot Zayn and Zayn hits a Figure Four Leg Lock on Punk. Punk grabs Zayn’s injured left wrist to escape and hits the Anaconda Vice on him, but the referee lets Zayn go as he gets distracted by The Mount. Gargano then crawls into the ring to hit Punk with the Undisputed WWE Championship, but Punk levels Gargano with the GTS.

Kevin Owens slides into the ring to prevent Zayn from grabbing the Undisputed WWE Championship. He looks to hit Zayn with it, but Zayn moves out of the way and Owens hits Punk. Zayn hits Owens and hits him with the Helluva Kick for the win.

Winner (and new): Sami Zayn
