Zayn asks how many fans came to swim or die with the last real good guy, then says no one has had his journey to the Undisputed WWE Championship and expresses his disappointment at the live crowd’s reaction. He says he doesn’t have the same respect as the other WWE Champions and says that when someone faces him for the Undisputed WWE Championship, it’s a foregone conclusion that they will win. He says the Undisputed WWE Championship proves he’s a survivor who overcomes, but Jevon Evans’ music hits and he’s out.
Evans says he didn’t mean to interrupt Zayn then says Zayn goes all red like an angry bird and storms out. Zayn says Evans has a big future and he’s been where he is, but Evans says Zayn is going to say his time is coming up. He reflects on the fact that his time is now, and then considers that it won’t take him 20 years to reach the Undisputed WWE Championship like it did for Zayn. He says he’s coming for the Undisputed WWE Championship and says he might be the youngest Money In The Bank holder, then says he might return to SmackDown with his Money In The Bank briefcase to beat Zayn.
Penta’s music hits and he’s out. He tells Zayn that when he wins the Money In The Bank briefcase, he will become a world champion, be it the Undisputed WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship.
Trick Williams’ music hits and he’s out. He tells Penta and Evans that he sees what they’re doing on WWE Raw and says he respects that, but they both have the same pride issue. He says he’s keeping SmackDown and congratulates Zayn on becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion, but Zayn throws some zingers and says he’ll never respect a champion “who can’t brush his teeth.” He says there’s only one man in the ring that looks, talks and smells at Money In The Bank, but Zayn says no one can do what he does. He says only one person can win the Money In The Bank briefcase, then says he looks at 2-3 losers and asks what happens when the losses start to pile up. He asks what’s going on when the crowd starts going sour on them, then says that he survived being a gingerbread man and still came out on top. He says no one can handle what he has, then dares Williams to “sniff” (him) again. He says Evans, Penta and Williams don’t deserve to stand in the same ring as him.
Zayn goes up the entrance ramp but Finn Balor’s music hits and says he told Zayn he’s coming for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Zayn says Balor isn’t special and clocks Zayn. Gunther appears to press a sleeper on Balor and levels him with a clothesline, then levels Zayn with a clothesline.
Julia then makes her way to the ring.
We then go backstage where an angry GUNTER ties Dunnhausen to a wall and sends him crashing into nearby objects.
Back at ringside, Blake Monroe comes out.
