After recent success in AAA over the past year, and rumors of a television deal, a new report has revealed that WWE is extending its AAA franchise through 2027. The news comes on the heels of the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, which Wednesday went live on YouTube.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that they have heard of several new agreements that have either recently started or will start in the near future for AAA. According to WrestleVotes, some of those future licensing deals include AAA stars featured in Topps trading card sets as well as Funko Pop. vinyl figure covers.
AAA stars will also reportedly be in WWE 2K27. Various AAA talents such as El Hijo del Vikingo, Flammer, Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown were featured in this year’s edition of the game, mostly via the Ringside Pass.
Already revealed are AAA-branded QuBee fidget toys, stackable magnetic cubes that can be rearranged, featuring stars such as La Catalina, La Hiedra, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. etc. Also available for purchase now is the AAA Big Shots Line, similar to the old Wrestle Buddies plush toys, featuring Psycho Clown, Mr. Iguana, El Grande Americano and La Parker.
WWE announced that it had been acquired AAA WrestleMania 41 weekend. Since then, various AAA talents have wrestled on the WWE main roster as well as WWE NXT. AAA’s weekly show airs on WWE’s YouTube channel every week as well on Fox in Mexico and Latin America.
