When? The Sept. 14 episode of “WWE Raw” ended with 3.1 million viewers. During the week, many wondered if the show was going to pick up some momentum or if the numbers were mostly due to the WWE World Heavyweight Title match between Penta and Roman Reigns. It seems to be a mix of the two, as viewership is down while still on par with what Raw was doing in the summer. Wrestlenomics reports that “Raw” episode of September 28 The week saw 2.5 million views, along with 4.4 million hours.
In the first category, There was no change from September 21which also drew 2.5 million viewers for the week, keeping “Raw” in the same range as it was between June and August, where viewership varied between 2.3 million and 2.7 million viewers. The news for hours watched was less good, down 400,000 from the 4.8 million hours watched on September 21st. As expected, hours watched were also down significantly from September 14th, with 6 million hours watched still being the highest WWE has done in that category in the past three months.
As for WWE’s ranking in Netflix’s Global and Domestic ratings, “Raw” ranked No. 8 in the former and No. 7 in the latter. While Raw was down in both ratings from last week, it was only slightly, with the red brand dropping one spot globally and two points domestically.
The September 28 episode of Raw continued to focus on The Bloodline’s rivalry at 946, with the latter adding former NXT star Jayda Parker to the mix. Parker announced his arrival in explosive fashion by running over Jacob Fatu with a car. The two sides will finally face off this coming week on Raw, where Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price will take on The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
