Hello everyone and welcome to our weekly coverage of NXT.

Who will be the two teams in the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic? Let us know in the comments below.
-
We’re live with Vic Joseph and Booker T welcoming the crowd home as Tony D’Angelo makes his way to the ring.
-
We hear from Tony D’Angelo
D’Angelo calls Grayson Waller into the ring and he comes out. Waller says he knew it was always going to be D’Angelo and says they both signed with WWE around the same time. He says they were teammates in the WWE Men’s WarGames and asks D’Angelo if he’s running away from him, then says he wants the satisfaction of beating D’Angelo head-to-head and says the biggest demon he has to conquer is D’Angelo.
-
D’Angelo says Waller always looked up to him, but no one knew who Waller was before WWE. He says Waller was only interested in viral moments, not titles, but Waller says D’Angelo had made his TV debut before him and had to hold his hand to show him what WarGames was all about. He says it didn’t matter how talented he was because D’Angelo was chosen, but D’Angelo says Waller is hiding behind one liners and memes because he’s desperate for attention. Waller says it’s called personality, then says he’s not a hypocrite because he mentally won their match months ago. He says all he has to do in the Halloween wreck is take D’Angelo out into the waters and let him drown.
D’Angelo says WarGames was his third match in NXT and then says it all boils down to them going head-to-head. Waller says D’Angelo considers himself the face of NXT and even beat Oba Femi twice, but that doesn’t mean D’Angelo can touch him in the ring with the run he’s on right now. He says the NXT Championship means something again, but D’Angelo says he carried the NXT Championship to cement his legacy. He says he’s still the Division One All-American who’ll rip Waller’s head off and beat him with it, then promises to drag Waller through it during the Halloween Devastation.
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno then make their way to the ring. Birthright follows.

He lands a chop to the chest but Galeno sends King crashing first into the corner of the ring spine and tags in Wagner Jr. Wagner Jr. wears Dempsey down but Galeno tags in again and hits a running senton on King. He throws the interfering Dempsey out of the ring and looks to jump out of the ring with Galeno, but Grace stands between Wagner Jr., Galeno and BirthRight. Tavion Heights then makes his way to the ring.
-
We’re hearing from Tavion Heights
Heights says he had a steel chair wrapped around his ankle by Miles Bourne, who apologized to him at NXT Heatwave only to continue using the chair to target his ankle. He says he believed Bourne’s apology, but Bourne doubled down and stabbed him in the back. He says it was his mistake and says he’s not wrong twice, then says he had to come out in front and focus to watch Bourne fall under the pressure of his NXT Championship Number One Contenders match against Tony D’Angelo last week.
Bourne slides into the ring and attacks Heights from behind. The two men get into a fight in the Performance Center parking lot, but security and officials work to separate the two men.

After the match, Zaria’s music hits and she makes her way to the ring to confront Dame for bullying her about playing Glinda in the Wicked play when she was younger. She says that if Dame wants a North American Women’s Championship match, she isn’t, then offers Dame a North American Women’s Championship match at Havoc on Halloween. Dame accepts the match challenge, but points out that Zaria doesn’t have to put her North American Women’s Championship on the line.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger then make their way to the ring. The Creed Brothers follow.
-
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. The Creed Brothers in a quarterfinal match for the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Walker and Julius Creed open the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Ledger and Brutus Creed tag out and Ledger back elbows Brutus in the corner. Walker tags in and sends Brutus crashing into the corner of the ring, but Brutus sends Walker crashing into the mat spine first and delivers the Brutus Smash.
-

Walker and Julius then tag in and Walker clotheslines Brutus out of the ring. He whips Julius in the corner and levels Brutus on the outside, then connects with a sidewalk slam on Julius and tags in Ledger.

With the contract for the NXT Women’s Championship Halloween Havoc match in hand, Sinclair says she had to watch Kelani Jordan walk around like no one could touch her. He says that Jordan is “The Special” but will be “The Special” at the destruction of Halloween and demands that he come to the ring so they can sign their contract.
Jordan shows up and says he has a present for Sinclair, then drags a battered Kendall Gray to ringside and runs to the back as Sinclair slides out of the ring to check on Gray.
We then go backstage where Zillah Fatu is asking Robert Stone to bring back the Halloween Wheel of Destruction so he can defeat Charlie Dempsey, with Dempsey asking for a match against Zillah earlier that night.
