Professional wrestling fans are confused today by World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) announcement that its flagship weekly television program, Monday Night Raw, will soon become a “two-night spectacular.”
Monday Night Raw will maintain its regular schedule on Mondays, followed by a three-hour “Monday Night Raw — Night 2” every Tuesday.
“Raw has gotten so big that Mondays can no longer contain it,” announced WWE executive Paul McMahon-Helmsley-Rising-Levesque.
WWE also announced today that its Survivor Series event will take place on both American Thanksgiving and Canadian Thanksgiving, and WrestleMania will be expanded to a 12-day event called SaudiMania.
Thanks to Christopher Braddy for the title idea.
