After the cameras stopped rolling “WWE Raw” This past Monday, WWE treated fans in San Diego, California to a special dark match where Sami Zayn defended the WWE Undisputed Championship against former champion Cody Rhodes. In the past, Rhodes vs. Zayn would only be for those in the building. These days, however, WWE is giving a chance to some fans who weren’t there to see it. Both False Finish and Fightful are reporting that the Zayn-Rhodes match is over Club WWE subscription serviceand is available to all subscribers.

This is the second match WWE has made available to Club WWE subscribers in the past few months. The promotion previously placed the WWE Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Chile’s Stephanie Walker on the service last month, in a match that saw: Vaquer gets the title back in his home country. WWE is expected to continue making such matches and Rhodes vs. Zayn available on Club WWE in the future, and there were even rumors that a Worlds Collide special could air on the platform from late September, though WWE ultimately decided to air it on YouTube following AEW’s tribute to PAC at Dynamite.
Unlike the Vaquer vs. Morgan match, there were no surprises between Rhodes and Zayn, with the latter retaining his championship after Rhodes won the match by disqualification. As a result, the WWE Crown Jewel PLE main event will not be moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Zayn will still have to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns to determine the WWE Crown Jewel Champion.
