Wednesday’s episode “AEW Dynamite” was a tribute to PAC. The show opened with emotional comments from Excalibur and Then a John Moxley promo and the last time PAC was ever on AEW cameras. The 10-bell salute preceded meetings with many of those closest to the PAC, along with tearful tributes. The match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet was a love letter to PAC in the ringfilled to the brim with callbacks to previous encounters. Ospreay connected with one of the KGB finishers, Black Arrow, to pick up the win.
After the match, Ospreay took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to say that he practiced for hours to hit the Black Arrow. “I arrived at the arena at 2:00 p.m. and was in the ring until the doors opened to practice. I haven’t done Black Arrow in 8 years. Something told me this was the night I could make the leap. I threw my heart out in front of me and Ben caught it. Thanks, Pak.”

On Instastories:Ospreay shared his reactions to hitting the Black Arrow. “Love seeing the Black Arrow reaction videos. I’m honored to have been able to take one last look at so many people who loved Pac. I hope it was the emotional release everyone needed, and I’m so grateful I was able to give it to you. Not as good as bens (sic) but that made him special. One. Thanks to everyone,” he wrote.
