Xavi Espart scored his first goal for Barcelona as he took a 2-0 lead in his LaLiga clash with levant.
Barça traveled to the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on the back of four straight La Liga wins to begin their title defence.
And it only took five minutes for them to start moving towards a fifth when the 19-year-old Espart opened his account in Barcelona.
Playing as a left-back, Espart showed their attacking prowess by finding the bottom left corner after Raphinha chipped the ball into his stride on the edge of the box.
Finding the net at 19 years and 115 days, Espart became the second youngest defender to score for Barça in the 21st century after Pau Cubarsí, who scored against Girona in February aged 19 years and 25 days.
Fourteen minutes later it was 2-0, Raphinha again the provider as Lamine Yamal came up with a simple finish.
Levante were unable to cut out a superb long pass from Fermín López, with Raphinha doing brilliantly to control the ball after launching himself into the air before rounding the keeper and pulling back for Yamal to tap into the empty net.
