On Friday night (September 25, 2026), fight fans scouring social media for top videos witnessed one of the best knockouts of the year.
The moment came at regional MMA event FAC 36 in Independence, Missouri, which on paper didn’t offer much to really get the juices flowing. Buried on the deep undercard, however, was a bout between heavyweight prospects Josh Davis and Jacob Turner. It’s a fight no one knew they had to see until the final moments were played out in real time.
It took Davis just eight seconds to rush Turner and force him to wave his arms defensively. Turner tried to run away from Davis’ punches, but Davis wouldn’t be denied. A final right hand slammed into Turner and sent him flying into the cage like a cartoon character. There he froze, his body slumped over the fence. In fact, Turner was still holding onto the cage with both hands. It was pretty dirty.

We’ve seen some wild finishes in MMA this year, but whenever a fighter looks like he’s turned into a blow-up plumber, it makes things that much worse. It may be an insignificant fight on the regional stage, but it was still one hell of a knockout streak.
