Hager’s slapstick began with a successful debut back in April, which ended there a big knockout win. Unfortunately, his sophomore appearance was the result nasty knockout loss just two months ago and yet he is already back in the competition.
That last trip to the podium resulted in a second round loss for the Doctors, one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen in combat sports. After swallowing his opponent’s slap and remaining conscious, Hager was clearly in pain. As he flinched and limped for a few moments away, his tear ducts began leaking a red liquid.
“He hit me right in the eye,” Hager said indignantly.
