Ultimate Fighting Championship is late.
Hines was supposed to meet Gabriel Lourenço in the heavyweight match at
UFC Fight Night 293 November 7 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas. However, Hines has announced that he is withdrawing from the fight due to vertigo.

Hines plans to continue training with modifications as he recovers from the vertigo and hopes to return to competition at full strength.
“Had to pull out of this for medical reasons due to vertigo,” Hines wrote on Instagram. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but I know I have to be able to step into that octagon 100% and live up to my true potential. I’m going to continue fight camp with some adjustments until I work through it and get back to where I need to be. I’m not walking away from the fight. I’m taking time to get right so when I’m back in there, I know I can put that fight on. and I appreciate everyone who waited for me competing.
Hines (7-2) was an undefeated prospect when he signed with the UFC last year, with seven wins in six finishes. However, “Goozie” has lost both of his Octagon appearances. Meanwhile, Lourenco (8-1) was scheduled to make his promotional debut against Hines after earning his contract with a first-round knockout victory over Charlie Cleveland.
