The UFC Halloween card opened in bloody fashion last night (Saturday, October 31, 2026) on Paramount+ with UFC Vegas 123 LIVE from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, lightweight contender Tom Nolan achieved the biggest victory of his career to date third round TKO over Renato Moicano. The co-headliner featured undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith, who pushed his UFC record to 5-0 over veteran Randy Brown.
Let’s take a look at the best UFC Halloween performances and highlights below!
The fact that the UFC had a Halloween event was pretty crazy. The fact that three of the fights featured rough cuts was just icing on the bloody cake.
The first jump scare occurred during a lightweight fight between Rodrigo Sezinando and Theodor Berggren. Sezinando cut open Berggren’s lip so badly that the doctor stepped in to pull the trigger. Another doctor’s stoppage happened with Jean-Paul Lebosnoyan and Farman Hasanov during the middleweight division. Lebosnojani turned Hasanov’s face into a horror movie, and the blow was ultimately canceled due to a cut around the eye.
Finally, the main event between Jacobe Smith and Randy Brown also had a nasty cut. It opened up over Brown’s eye, but luckily “Rude Boy” was able to continue and fought all three rounds.
The UFC’s lightweight division has some of the fastest rising contenders in the sport, and it might be time to add Jean-Paul Lebosnoyan to that list.
In just a few Octagon appearances, the former LFA standout has shown he can do it all. From grappling to wild strikes, “JPL” has quickly become a name to watch at 170 pounds. Saturday was another chance for “The American Bandit” to prove he deserves a top 15 finish. Lebosnojani faced takedown-hungry monster Farman Hasanov, who had 17 takedowns in his UFC debut earlier this year.
Despite Hasanov’s size and takedown ability, Lebosnojan was undeterred. Lebosnojani defended four of six takedowns and outshot Hasanov 2-1 in key hits. It was quite a dominant performance by Lebosnoyan, who eventually finished the fight with a second-round TKO.
Referee Dan Miragliotta completely changed the course of Saturday’s main event, and no one has forgotten it.
Renato Moicano had plenty of success when he fought Tom Nolan early in the UFC Halloween main event. In fact, “Money” spent minutes on Nolan’s back in the first round. Moicano went back to the well in the second and was on Nolan again. No major damage was done, but Moicano’s stance should have spoken for itself. After all, he is a world-class submission expert who could have ended the fight at any second.
A few moments later and Judge Miragliotta calls for a stand. He stood up in the fight while Moicano was down with Nolan’s back. Not seen that often in MMA, and a decision that ended up costing Moicano the fight as Nolan got a third round TKO to end the show.
Of course, fight fans were not happy about the call. Many questioned why the fight was stopped when Moicano was in back control, while others went the extreme route of claiming Miragliota made some mistake. We believe that Miragliota acted with a clear mind, but the decision to face the fight is still a bit confusing.
