Campbell wears glasses with considerably thick lenses when he is out of competition. The Liverpool native seems to rely heavily on them, putting them on immediately after a fight. Campbell recently revealed that his eyesight is poor and that opponents appear blurry to him until they get close.

“My vision is really bad, but at the same time I love my glasses,” Campbell told Ariel Helwan. “I would never change them. . . . When I was younger, I tried contacts, but I was always too nervous; I couldn’t put them in. So I got used to fighting without them and I guess I never went back. I’ve always preferred it. . . . Because the UFC cage is big, (my opponent) is blurry and when we get closer it gets better.”
