Everett originally joined the UFC through a third-party security agency before eventually becoming a full-time running back for the UFC CEO
Dana White. “Bundy” racked up four straight finishes to start his pro career and earn a UFC contract in the DWCS.
He unleashed a barrage of punches on Martin that knocked him out to punch his ticket to the list. Everett then issued a warning to the UFC welterweights, saying he won’t back down from any challenge.
“Hey boss, I’m ready to be in the UFC,” Everett said in his post-fight interview. “The whole division knows my name, Salhahuddin, and I’m coming and I’m not afraid of anyone. I’m not going to back down from any challenge. I’m here for a reason, so Dana White’s Contender Series is the first step in that journey.”
