The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is live TONIGHT (Saturday, October 17, 2026) with UFC Edmonton, live online via Paramount+. The event takes place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Tonight’s main attraction is the middleweights Joaquin Buckley vs. Mike Malott.
The UFC has added its entire Canadian roster to Rogers Place in Edmonton for this one. The main event fighter is as expected Mike Malott – who is currently Canada’s favorite mixed martial arts (MMA) man. He has a chance to break 15 of the best if he can hit Joaquin Buckley (who is currently stuck in a duel lost skid).
The co-main event is an important competition in the women’s lightweight (full breakdown here). Erin Blanchfield can earn the title Natalia Silva if he can drop Jasmine Jasudavicius on enemy territory. He is riding a long winning streak and may have been disappointed to see that Wang Cong receive an invitation to this vacancy earlier this month.
The rest of the UFC Edmonton main card leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the time, these are fighters with losing streaks or very few repetitions. These struggles include Kyle Nelson vs. Christian Perez, Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Kyle Daukaus, Louis Jordan vs. Timmy Cuamba and Almond Nallo vs. Nate Landwehr.
Alberta’s Tanner Boser “Prelim” is featured. He fights Jonathan Diniz. Kaitlyn Cerminera returns to compete on this card after a four-year absence. The former title challenger has a newcomer Mackenzie Stiller.

UFC EDMONTON QUICK RESULTS
UFC EDMONTON PLAY-BY-PLAY UPDATES
Chad Anheliger vs. Steven Koslow: Between the two of them, there was six years of inactivity here. Anheliger was also turning 40 and it showed. The combination of Koslow’s age, size and wrestling advantage was simply too high a mountain for Anheliger. Koslow would eventually turn his entire top position into a rear naked choke finish.
Official Decision: Steven Koslow def. Chad Anheliger by submission (rear naked choke), Round 3 (4:31)
Melissa Croden Vs. Chelsea Chandler: Chandler lit up the whole fight. Croden then tripped Chandler and Chandler was able to scramble for an arm. He ended up getting a deep kimura and it snapped Croden’s hand. Two kimuras in a row and two losses to Canada in a row too (boo!).
Official decision: Chelsea Chandler def. Melissa Croden by submission (kimura), Round 1 (4:52)
Su Young You Vs. Cody Shovancek: That was a stifling performance from you. He spent most of the fight demonstrating his wrestling from the top position, back and back. And it wasn’t boring either. it was all very technical and he looked for ways to damage and subdue Shovancek. The end came with a brutal mounted kimura.
Official decision: Su Young Sa def. Cody Shovancek by submission (kimura), Round 3 (4:19)
