Kody Steele picked up the biggest win of his career today (Saturday, October 24, 2026) at UFC 333 LIVE on Paramount+ at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Contender Seriess standout stopped Noah Gugnon via first-round TKO (punches).
Steele, coming off a career win last time out, hasn’t quite lived up to the hype that came with it Contender series. On Saturday, Steele had a chance to earn a huge win on one of the most stacked cards of the year. Standing in his way was a hungry Frenchman with a dangerous finishing ability.
It didn’t last long as Steele was picked off in the opening round and landed some clean shots on the legs. He eventually got in and hit a violent combination that knocked Gugnon down. Steele quickly moved in for some insurance kicks as the referee called a stoppage. It was a pretty decisive finish, and perhaps the finish that could earn Steele a $100,000 post-fight bonus.
