Over the past few weeks, WWE Crown Jewel talk has been less about what matchup will be on the card and more will the show still be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?. And at least as of right now, the impression from WWE is that they’re still going to make the trip. On Tuesday X morning, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H unveiled the WWE Crown Jewel poster with Riyadh front and center.
Champions vs. Champions,” Triple H tweeted. “The WWE Crown Jewel is LIVE from Riyadh. Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12 p.m. ET.”

Even before Triple H’s tweet, WWE already announced that the Crown Jewel will take place in Riyadh during last night’s episode of Raw. The promotion announced the first two matches for the card, with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns taking on WWE Undisputed Champion Sami Zayn and WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green facing Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Both were advertised as having meetings in Riyadh.
Questions have been raised about the show After attacks by Houthi forces on Saudi Arabia and its airfields during the last month. The situation has escalated to the point that the US Embassy has issued a Level 3 travel advisory, suggesting tourists reconsider traveling to Saudi Arabia. However, without the travel ban, there is nothing stopping WWE from holding the show in Saudi Arabia if they choose. There have been some indications that the campaign has a backup plan in case the situation is unstable, but it remains unknown at this time what the plans are.
