Tommy McMillen Reacts to Noche UFC 4 Fight of the Night

Tommy “Gunz” wants only the best.

A red-hot Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight prospect Tommy McMillen made a difficult unanimous decision Marwan Rahiki yesterday (Saturday, September 12, 2026) at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona (watch the highlights).

And it was anything but easy.

McMillen improved to 3-0 inside the Octagon and 12-0 overall, but his perfect record was in serious jeopardy in the second round. Rahiki hit him with a strong blow which sent him crashing to the canvas and swarming with knees as the hometown favorite desperately tried to survive.

McMillen weathered the storm, recovered and then took the lead in the third round, striking out, threatening a submission and overwhelming Rahiki with his pace to secure the decision.

Savage Battle Served”Night fight” award, giving McMillen his third consecutive $100,000 bonus and bringing his New Year bonus total to $300,000.

More than the money, McMillen enjoyed being forced to dig deep against another dangerous, unbeatable prospect.

“I had the time of my life there,” McMillen said in his backstage interview with the media. “I like to dig deep. Those are the fights I want. I don’t want to fight thugs – easy fights. I like to take on killers with a 100 percent finish rate and go out there and test myself because the next time you see me, I’ll be even better than that kid you saw tonight.

“I don’t like to fight against thugs even with records,” McMillen continued. “I know the game I’m playing. It’s dangerous.”

Rahiki certainly brought that threat, coming remarkably close to handing McMillen the first loss of his professional career. Still, “Gunz” refused to fold and believes his ability to survive his worst moments proved he’s operating on another level.

“I’m just on another level and I’m writing the script right now,” McMillen said. “This is my f-king movie and I’m like in real life Grand Theft Auto character. I’m playing a video game and everyone is in my world… Everyone said he was going to knock me out. You can’t knock me out. You have to kill me. Next time, bring a gun.”

McMillen is looking to return in December for his fourth fight in 2026, capping a phenomenal year in which he went from an exciting rookie to one of the UFC’s most watched young fighters.

Whether the UFC gives him that quick turnaround remains to be seen, but his matchmaking request couldn’t be clearer.

No easy fights. His record has not been padded. Just send the killers.
