Tommaso Ciampa already has a gold medal in AEW since his debut earlier this year, but now he has his sights set on a new prize, the AEW International Championship, and has challenged Kazuchika Okada to a match at AEW All Out 2026.
Ciampa has made it very clear over the past few weeks that he wants a match at All Out 2026, but September 16 “AEW Dynamite” series. he revealed that the match he wanted most of all was against “The Rainmaker” and officially challenged the champion. Later in the show, Okada was asked by Rene Paquette what his answer was, and after much thought, he called Ciampa ab****. Naturally, Ciampa didn’t take this answer too well and attacked Okada backstage, stating that he didn’t want Ciampa vs. Okada, he wanted The Psycho Killer vs. The Rain. The match was eventually made official by AEW president Tony Khan.
