AEW’s Tommaso Ciampa may be a psycho killer, but he’s also a guy who likes to have fun. as seen in his Glorious Bombardment with Johnny Gargano. over the years, or his attack on Andrade El Idolo’s pants at AEW WrestleDream. But his latest attempt at a good time may come back to haunt him. Accepting to: Instagram:Ciampa posted a video from St. Louis, Missouri, where “Fright Night Dynamite” and “Bakhum” were held this week. Remembering that St. Louis was the hometown of his former employee, Randy Orton, Ciampa announced that he was finally going to hit Orton with his own move, the RKO out of nowhere, a comeback bit of what Ciampa did while in WWE.
The clip would then cut to hours later where it appeared Ciampa had found Orton and was about to send in the RKO. He’ll miss the move anyway and go face first into the trainer’s table, quickly realizing it’s not Orton, he’s almost RKO’d. but the man who defeated him for the AEW TNT Championship earlier this year, Kyle Fletcher. A confused Fletcher asked what Ciampa was doing, before The Psycho Killer admitted that Fletcher was “someone else”. Still confused, Fletcher let it all out, leaving Ciampa groaning in pain on the trainer’s table.
As packed as Ciampa’s adventures were before “Dynamite,” he was just as eventful when the TBS/HBO Max cameras started rolling. Despite losing to Andrade at WrestleDream, Ciampa called out the luchador for a rematch while declaring him the best signing in AEW history. This prompted recent AEW signee and former Ciampa opponent Ilya Dragunov to come down to the ring and challenge Ciampa to a match. Ciampa withdrew to focus on his match with Matt Sydal at The Clash, though he and Dragunov were expected to meet again sooner rather than later.
