This tip lark is easy! ours The advice for Wednesday arrived and now it’s three out of three this week.
Tonight, we focus on the Europa League and a competition where there is a huge disparity in the quality of the teams.
We have identified a three match acca with teams to win and more than one goal in the competition.
The first is from Sunderland trip to Portugal to face Torreense. The hosts pulled off one of the biggest shocks in European football last season by claiming the Portuguese Cup in the shadows of the Wearsiders’ FA Cup triumph in 1973. But the truth is they are a lowly second division club and have won one league game in seven this season.
Sunderland haven’t set the world alight in the Premier League so far, but they should be too good in this one.
The second is Alkmaar to go through the Hapoel Beer Sheva. AZ showed at the Estadio de la Llum last month what a good side they are. They suffered their first Eredivisie defeat of the season at the weekend, losing 2-0 to title rivals Feyenoord, but should be back on track against a side who sit fourth in the Israeli First Division.
And finally, let’s go for Benfica to end Celtic.
Lisbon may be one of Celtic’s favorite European cities, having been the venue for their 1967 European Cup success, but it is unlikely to be a happy return.
Martin O’Neill’s men lost three games on the bounce before the international break but beat Motherwell at the weekend to quell the noise surrounding their manager.
But Benfica is a very different beast. Now under ex-Fulham manager Marco Silva, they have won nine of their last 10 in all competitions and flexed their muscles with a 2-0 win at AC Milan in their Europa League opener.
Thursday tip (odds are from bet365 and correct from 08:30 on Thursday 15 October)
Sunderland to beat Torreense and 1+ goals in the game @ 1/2
AZ to beat Hapoel Beer Sheva and over 1 goals in the match @ 2/5
Benfica beat Celtic and 1+ goals in the game @ 3/10
Combined odds of 1.73/1
