Tip of the Day: Nations League and Grand Prix darts the focus of our three-leg acca

Only an Eastleigh goal prevented it Yesterday’s tip coming in, but we’re back with more information for Thursday’s deal.

It’s back to League of Nations action for two-thirds of today’s tip and we start with the Republic of Ireland clash with Austria in Dublin.

This game comes between two politically charged games against Israel and their boss Heimir Hallgrimsson has spoken regularly about the emotional toll the first game in Debrecen, Hungary, took on his players over the weekend.

Ireland are likely to have an eye on a comeback with the Israelis on Sunday and this game could get lost in the noise.

Add to that the fact that Austria are a good team (ranked 22nd in the FIFA World Rankings compared to Ireland at 55) and we can’t see the visitors emerging empty-handed.

It’s been quite a week for Portugal and tonight they face Denmark without men’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the field in a tie to miss out on Norway.

Ronaldo’s departure can be liberating for the rest of the squad and we believe they will get a positive result in Copenhagen. The Danes are no mugs and they got past Wales in their last outing so let’s get both teams to score.

The third leg of our acca comes from the World Grand Prix Darts with Luke Humphries in action.

The world number two faces Jermaine Wattimena tonight and looks like an opportunity to progress.

Thursday’s Acca (odds are from bet365 and correct as of 12pm 1st October)

Austria to win or draw against Republic of Ireland @ 2/7

Denmark – Portugal – Both teams to score @ 8/15

Luke Humphries to beat Jermaine Wattimena @ 1/3

Combined odds of 1.62/1
