WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green upset WWE World Women’s Champion Liv Morgan to win the WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Championship. But then Tiffany Stratton cashed in at Money in the Bank, pinning Green to claim the women’s title for her second reign.
Morgan started the match comfortably in his favor, taking time to pick Green. Green slapped her on the back and gathered to get Morgan out of the ring, but the Women’s World Champion regained control when she got back between the ropes.
That theme continued throughout the contest, with Morgan dominating and Greene leaving to battle from the bottom going forward, only to be stopped in the end. Green managed to connect with Rough Ryder for a near fall, but ended up in a half crab soon after and had to expend energy fighting for the ropes.
A suicide dive turned the tide on Green again, brought him back into the ring and Unpretty took him out, went for the cover, but Morgan got his foot on the bottom rope. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez came down to ringside, providing enough of a distraction to give Morgan the lead.
Morgan sent Rodriguez and Perez to the back, saying it was Green who handled it. They returned to the ring and Morgan pinned ObLivion for the win. Green grabbed the ropes to stop the move, pinning Morgan for the winning three count.
Morgan attacked Green as he was awarded the Crown Jewel title belt, prompting Stratton to run in and seemingly make the save. He stated that he wanted to cash in, prompting Perez and Rodriguez to run to the ring and try to stop him. Green stopped them from entering the ring and turned into a Stratton briefcase, after which she cashed in on Green and claimed the Women’s Championship with PME.
Greene is now the third unique Women’s Crown gold medalist since the belt was introduced in 2024. Morgan was the inaugural owner and now has the first former winner to lose a Women’s Crown Jewel championship match.
