Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale thanks to the help of her Madness Triangle stablemates, AEW All Out 2026. “Venom Spider” will challenge Mercedes Mone at WrestleDream for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
The women started the bout with a fast-paced offense. Thekla avoided a powerbomb and they traded pin attempts back and forth. Nightingale almost threw Thekla right out of the ring. Thekla began targeting Nightingale’s broken arm, first grabbing around the ropes. He continued to aim his fingers while Nightingale lifted him up for a powerbomb that he couldn’t follow up on.
Nightingale rallied and tossed Thecla off the second rope. He hit from Cloverleaf, Texas, paying tribute to the late “Butcher” Andy Williams. She looked for a moonsault, but Thekla rolled out of the ring, so Nightingale hit a cannonball instead. Thekla climbed up and cross-slammed Nightingale to the floor.
Nightingale dodged Thekla’s kick and set her up for the Death Valley Driver. Thekla delivered a blow from the second rope to Nightingale’s hand. He followed up with a spear, but Nightingale bridged off the pin, hitting Thekla’s spider position to go head-to-head with her. Nightingale took them both down with a lariat off the middle rope.
Julia Hart ran in with her Artist of Stardom Championship in hand to distract the referee to one side of the ring. On the other hand, Skye Blue hit Nightingale with her belt. Hart accidentally hit Thekla with the gold, and Nightingale took out the two Sisters of Sin before attempting to bind Thekla to no avail. Nightingale couldn’t get Thekla up for another powerbomb, and Thekla pinned her arm, then delivered another to her neck for the win.
