Takomo enters putter market with low-torque, low-cost Lumo B1 and M1 | Gear

Takomo has entered the putter market, and its first models are not traditional.

With its Lumo B1 blade and Lumo M1 mallet, the low-cost clubmaker opted for a single curved shaft to create a balanced design in the center of gravity and at low torque.

In line with the company’s other club releases, the new Lumo putters are less than $250, keeping them in a affordable space in the market.

Continue reading below for more on Takomo Lumo putters.

What’s really new with Takomo Lumo putters – and why you should care

Takomo sourced the low torque single curve design from Finnish putter specialist Otso Golf. Takomo bought the company in 2025, and CEO Miikka Farin joined as well.

Neither putter is close to “oversize” territory, with even the M1 club staying in a medium-sized profile, which should make it accessible to almost all golfers, while adding stability and alignment confidence.

Meanwhile, the B1 takes the same low-end torque performance from the single-bend shaft placement and puts it in a wide-blade shape to appeal to traditionalists.

Both putters are milled from 303 stainless steel with half-depth grooves to give them a smooth feel and consistent roll.

Both models are also offered in two finish options – satin steel and black DLC – which match the clean and understated aesthetics of Takomo’s complete line of golf clubs.

Price, Specifications and Availability

Takomo’s new Lumo B1 and M1 putters will be available to order on the Takomo website starting on October 6.

Both putters sell for $219 in satin steel or $239 in black DLC.

The B1 and M1 are both available in lengths of 33, 34 and 35 inches with corresponding weights of 362g, 357g and 352g. Each model has 3˚ of loft and 70˚ lie angle.

The M1 has 14mm of travel while the B1 only has 8mm.
