Another UFC fighter has been suspended for a tainted supplement. According to the UFC sponsored Combat Sports Anti-Doping Agency (CSAD), there is a high weight contender Jaqueline Amorim has failed two out-of-competition drug tests on 29 July and 17 August 2026 with Ostarine in his system.
The two tests fall under one violation, and Amorim is subject to a shorter suspension of six months because they determined that the supplement was the cause of the failure.
“During CSAD’s investigation, Amorim fully and fully cooperated as defined in the UFC ADP. After reviewing the evidence, CSAD determined that the findings were consistent with exposure to low-level ostarine contamination and not intentional use,” official statement declared.
“This determination was based on several factors, including Amorim’s history of testing, the low levels of ostarine detected in both samples, the use of several supplements that had not been tested and certified by third parties, and the documented prevalence of ostarine contamination in dietary supplements worldwide. The evidence also did not show that Amorim’s exposure conferred a significant benefit.”
Amorim’s suspension is retroactive to the second test on August 17, 2026, making him eligible for competition on February 17, 2027.
Amorim, 31, is currently 5-2 in the UFC with a first-round handcuff win. Loma Lookboonmee last May.
