September 25: Olympique de Marseille has deepened its relationship with French water and waste services group SUEZ, naming it as official supplier for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.
The agreement builds on the cooperation that began in 2024 through Treizième Homme, OM’s foundation for social and environmental work in the Aix-Marseille-Provence area. The relationship now moves into the club’s commercial partner structure, with SUEZ gaining visibility at the CEPAC Velodrome and elsewhere at the club.
SUEZ Development Director Michel Havard spoke about continuity. “We are pleased and proud to continue our shared history with Olympique de Marseille by becoming an official supplier of the club,” he said.
The president of the OM, Stéphane Richard, framed the growth. “This partnership is entering a new stage with its extension to our flagship stadium, but also to our various venues,” he said.
It’s a reminder that not all sponsorships are global reach and flashy activations. A partnership rooted in local schools and environmental projects, later formalized commercially, fulfills a growing theme of purpose-driven sponsorship.
