Earlier this week, TNA has confirmed Shotzi Blackheartformer WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion as the newest member of the Knockouts Division. Tonight on TNA Impact. then he took his official first steps.
Following their loss at Bound For Glory, now former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Allie and Kiera Hogan took to the ring to address their future in the company. Allie voiced her desire for a title rematch against Apex. Hogan, however, was not interested in doing so, declaring Ali to be the “weakest link” on their team.
Cue the arrival of Tasha Stills, who attacked Ali with the help of Hogan. The pair lay down a series of kicks, a leg drop and a splash, leaving Ali two-on-one at the end of the Fire N’ Flava reunion. That changed when Blackheart ran up to even the odds. Hogan and Styles eventually retreated as Ellie celebrated her newfound ally.
“The Ballsy Badass” has previous experience in TNA, having wrestled for the promotion in 2018 and 2019. Thursday night’s appearance is his first as a member of the official roster, however. Interestingly, Blackheart’s first two in-ring appearances in TNA both involved Ali. The first pitted her and Tessa Blanchard against Ali and Hogan. The second saw Blackheart and Ali clash in singles competition.
Blackheart left WWE in mid-2025 and subsequently signed with MLW, where she went on to capture the company’s Women’s Division title. Due to recording delays, he still reigns as the MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion on MLW programming.
