Shawn Michaels has spoken WWE signs Zilla Fatu and what he brings to the table.
Michaels recently appeared in “Destroyed gap” where he was asked about Zila Fatu and her development on “NXT”. The Hall of Famer noted that he didn’t get to see much of Fatu before he moved to WWE, but commentator Booker T. who trained Fatu – spoke magnificently about him. Fatu took a while to join WWE due to unnamed issues, Michaels added.
“Well, I knew about him from Booker T, it was probably a few years ago, you know, Booker mentioned him, and obviously everything here has to go through a big chain of command. But there were some issues early on and we obviously had to give him time and see him develop,” Michaels began.
Michaels stated that he often only sees small portions of wrestlers before they join him on NXT. He believes Fatu has great potential, primarily because of the background he comes from.
“I’ll see social clips and stuff like that, and you could see the personality, you could see, I don’t know, the energy that he had. But I think now that he’s here, I think we can really help him with this for a long time,” he added. “As far as I see in him, in that family, I don’t care, there’s talent there, and there’s passion, and look, there’s humor there. That’s something we don’t see very often. I don’t know anyone in that lineage who isn’t a lot of fun and really cute people behind the scenes. I think they have some passion. the tenacity in them, and it’s just spread throughout the core of the Samoan dynasty, if you call it the ‘Bloodline’ if you will.”
The legendary wrestler said he wants to help Zillah improve his promos and learn to run two or three segments that aren’t as easy as they seem.
