Seth Rollins has often been considered one of the best professional wrestlers in the world over the past decade, but “The Visionary” went all out on Wednesday, offering the title to the “WWE Raw” star.
Not recently Instagram story, Rollins praised current Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable, who just had one of his own. best matches of the year on the red brand with Dragon Lee on Monday.
“Watching the growth of one of the best wrestlers on planet Gablin has been an absolute pleasure.”
In addition to his bout with Gable Lee, he wrestled one other bout Great defense of the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio last month and had one of the best matches of the year when I fought against Great America as Original El Grande Americano at AAA Noche de Los Grandes. Rollins has not been seen on WWE television since lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam but hopefully a future match with Gable is on the horizon as he has only had one match with the Intercontinental Champion in his career. However, Rollins’ return to television action may be coming soon, as is he finished wrestling on WWE’s South American Live Tour last week.
Rollins’ only singles match against Gable came on Raw in January 2023, where he defeated the Olympian in an Elimination Chamber Qualification match. Aside from their match three years ago, Rollins and Gable have only been locked in Royal Rumble or house show matches. At this point, Gable’s next opponent for the Intercontinental Championship has yet to be confirmed, but Ethan Page has been eyeing the gold ever since the Minnesota native. won the SummerSlam title.
