Tommy McMillen describes the fight with Marwan Rahiki before Noche UFC 4
Bad blood is boiling between the two undefeated 145-pound prospects and they have taken several shots at each other leading up to fight week. McMillen previously said he would be willing to fight Rahiki in a parking lot and doubts the Moroccan would be willing to do the same.
The American now claims that he has already run into Rahik in the elevator of the fighter hotel. McMillen says he was with his brother and his hitting coach when he met Rahiki, who was accompanied by eight teammates.
“I jumped in the elevator here and this is the first kid I saw,” McMillen said at Noche UFC 4 media day. “He was there with eight of his teammates and I’m sitting here with my little brother Jono and my outstanding trainer JJ. I got right in his face; he tried to touch me, I pushed him right out of the face. I told him he looks like a little scratchy brat, Saturday night I’m going to make him look like my little brother… Security had to figure it out. He doesn’t like it all. I don’t like it. and I’m the guy who fights it with the child in the parking lot.
Footage of the altercation shows both sides trading barbs and gently shoving each other as officers try to separate them. Both McMillen and Rahiki have two finishes in as many UFC outings. While McMillen has finished 10 of his 11 career wins, Rahiki has never seen the scoreboard in his nine career wins.
