Rams wide receiver Davante Adams injured his hamstring in an Oct. 18 game against the Cardinals.
He recently underwent a hip replacement procedure.
“Everything is good. It went really well,” Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday. “He is doing well in the recovery process and doing very well.”
The prognosis for Adams was 6-10 weeks, but McVay said Adams will probably be back “closer to the short end” of the timeline. That could mean Adams returns sometime after the team’s Week 11 bye.
“He tells me, which I believe, (that) he’s Wolverine,” McVay said. “He’ll recover quickly and be ready to go. He’s in good spirits. (He) sent me a picture the other day (of him) being able to walk already. He’s doing very well and I think based on how everything went, in the short end it’s what it’s designed to be.”
Adams, who is on injured reserve, has 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games.
