Before Scotland-Switzerland
Scotland welcome Switzerland at Hampden Park on Tuesday night to face UEFA Nations League Group B Group 1 matchday two.
The hosts have a point from their opening game, while Switzerland top the group after starting their campaign with a 3-0 win over North Macedonia.
Steve Clarke stepped down as Scotland manager after the World Cupwith Sebastien Pocognoli appointed as his successor.
The Belgian’s first game in charge ended in a goalless draw against Slovenia on Saturday, although Scotland created enough chances to take heart from the performance.
Pocognoli will now face a much tougher test against Switzerland and will want Scotland to put in another positive performance while being more clinical in front of goal.
Switzerland were also relegated from League A in the previous Nations League campaign after finishing bottom of Group 4 with just two points from six games.
Switzerland progressed from their World Cup group with seven points before defeating Algeria and Colombia in the knockout rounds.
Their campaign finally ended against Argentina in the quarter-finals, where Switzerland conceded twice in extra time after being reduced to 10 men.

Pocognoli could retain much of the squad that drew with Slovenia, although the Scotland manager may consider changes in attack after his side failed to score.
Oli McBurnie and Robbie Ure missed good chances in the opening game, which could open the door for Kieron Bowie to break into the starting eleven.
Bowie could partner McBurnie, with John McGinn operating behind the two forwards.
Switzerland will again be without Breel Embolo, sanctioned for his red card at the World Cup.
Amdouni took advantage of Embolo’s absence against North Macedonia, scoring twice and setting up another goal, and should keep his place up front.

Scotland showed enough against Slovenia to suggest they can make life difficult for Switzerland, but the visitors arrive with more drive after a 3-0 win against North Macedonia.
Switzerland also have several players capable of punishing Scotland if given space, while Amdouni’s form provides another attacking threat to Yakin’s side.
