Fenix got off to a hot start as he used his speed to take Sanes off his game by hitting a Tope Con Hilo to the outside, but as the match went into a commercial break, Sanes took advantage by sending Fenix to the outside and sending the champion over the announced table. When the action returned from the break, Saints tried to rip off Phoenix’s mask, forcing the champion to retreat to the corner. The Saints got a foot on the bottom rope to break up a pin after being face first planted by Fenix, who quickly followed up with a Moonsault, but still couldn’t put the challenger away. Fenix went for the Rolling Cutter but was stopped mid-move and Saints followed up with a Tornado DDT. The Saints then hit a Death Valley Driver which only got a two count, but as she walked back to the corner, Phoenix countered with a Powerbomb. The champion quickly hit two Rolling Cutters that still couldn’t put the Saints away, leading to Fenix going for a Mexican Muscle Buster, but the Saints fought back the first time but couldn’t escape the second time as Fenix hit the pin to win and retain his title.
