It’s a big weekend for AAA. as the WWE-owned promotion is scheduled to host both nights of TripleMania 34 on Friday and SundayThe first show will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the second will take place in Mexico City. And while AAA and WWE are looking to treat the shows as big deals, there seems to be a greater emphasis on making the Mexico City event memorable. Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful reports that there are “some unexpected elements in store for the shows” and that fans would do well to stay tuned for Night Two, where most of the unexpected developments are expected.
This report appeared to be confirmed by another report from False Finish on Thursday afternoon, who took to X to reveal that those involved with TripleMania expected “a number of unsigned talents” to participate on Night Two. While it wasn’t confirmed where these unsigned talents would be used, False Finish’s tweet was accompanied by a poster showing off the Copa Bardahl trophy, suggesting that the multi-man match that was a tradition at TripleMania, which was still owned by WWE, could feature surprises.

No indication has been given as to what “unsigned talent” AAA will be using for the show, and whether the talent will be strictly luchadors or perhaps unsigned talent from elsewhere in North America. Whoever shows up will only add to the already stacked two-night event, with TripleMania currently slated to feature twelve matches together, including Rey Mysterio vs. Omos on Night One, and Dominic Mysterio defends the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano The second night.
