The Buccaneers shut out the Falcons in Sunday’s win, but their defense lost a starter to injury en route to the win.
Fullback Yaya Diaby left the game with a knee injury. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Diaby it is believed that there is a sprained MCL and he will have an MRI to provide further clarity on the extent of the injury. This test will also provide a better idea of when Diaby is able to return to the lineup.
Diaby was limited to seven games against Atlanta.
Diaby didn’t make the stat sheet during his brief time in Sunday’s game, but he has 16 tackles, three clearances and an interception all season.
