That’s because Brunson, 42, recently signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and will make his in-ring debut at BKFC’s upcoming “Fight Night” event on Friday, November 20, 2026 at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
“I’m excited to compete again,” Brunson said. “I’ve been training for the last three years, getting my younger guys ready. Time to get back out there and have some fun. I’m really nervous right now.”
Brunson has not competed since losing to Rodolfo Vieira at ADXC 7 in late 2024.
“We are honored to have Derek Brunson sign with BKFC,” said BKFC Founder and President David Feldman. “We’ve long admired his world-class skills and can’t wait to see him at the Squared Circle. We’re sure he’ll make some serious noise as he battles for BKFC.”
