The Predators and star forward Kawhi Leonard agreed on a two-year contract extension worth $115 million, agent Harrison Gaines ESPN’s Shams Charania reports (Link to Twitter).
The deal will take effect in 2027/28 after Leonard earns $50.3 million in 2026/27. According to Charanya, it will include a player option for the 28/29 season.
Although completing the Raptors trade for Leonard was postponed until last Mondayboth sides “maintained a consistent dialogue” throughout the offseason, Charanya tweetsadding that the 35-year-old expects to finish his career in Toronto.
