The Premier League will host seven matches on Christmas Day 2026 after confirming their Christmas and New Year schedule.
Four games will kick off at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 26 December, with further games at 12:30, 17:30 and 20:00.
The festive schedule is considerably bigger than last year, when only one Premier League game was played on Christmas Day.
Seven Premier League games on Boxing Day
Aston Villa kick off the day’s action against Leeds at 12.30pm before Everton play Sunderland, Fulham play Brighton, Ipswich play Brentford and Tottenham take on Bournemouth in the 3pm games.
Liverpool It will then travel to Hull for the 5.30pm game before Newcastle host Manchester City at 8pm.
Three more games will be played on Sunday 27 December, including Manchester United v Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace v Arsenal.
The Premier League has also confirmed that Leeds will host Everton at 8pm on New Year’s Day, with the remainder of that round taking place on January 2 and 3.
Holiday hours designed to ease congestion
There will be night games on December 29th and 30th, followed by another round of games between January 5th and 7th.
The Premier League has guaranteed clubs at least 60 hours between games over the festive period.
The move aims to address concerns about team congestion following the expansion of European club competitions and the international calendar.
