Now that Alex Pereira trainer Plinio Cruz beat Chase DeMoore trainer last night Misfits Boxing: Essex vs. Dapper boxing event, he wants to fight on and finally get the gloves on DeMoor.
Cruz and DeMoor have had to fight twice and both fights were canceled. That last cancellation was especially sus: DeMoor pulled out just a few days before the fight claiming an eye injury. His trainer, Gary Olive, bravely stepped in and was fully fleshed out during the four-minute fight, dropping to a knee and being counted out for Cruz’s second-round TKO win. (highlights here).
Cruz claimed another DeMoore booking after the win.
“Pinocchio because he lies and his nose grows,” said Plinio in the circle. “First off, props to Gary for boxing better than Chase. He didn’t have as many balls in the coach’s corner. What a champ, he can’t even support his family.”
“Father will show you what a real man is,” he continued. “You’ve got no boxing skills. You’ve got no swag. You’ve got no mojo. Come here bro, I’ll kick your f–king ass. Chama!”
DeMoor didn’t attend the Misfits Boxing event, but he messaged Cruz after the fight … prompting Cruz to post pictures of his back-and-forth on Xi (formerly Twitter).
“I’m embarrassed for you,” DeMoor wrote. “But a good fight, I guess.”
“You’re a gross ass,” Cruz replied. “Then come fight, stop hiding behind the video with makeup, be a man at least once in your life and come fight me.”
He then unleashed a pretty epic roast on DeMoor.
“The internet already hates you,” he wrote. “Come fight before I bury your name for good, before you even fight anyone else. But since I already heard you’re avoiding me to fight a fat 70-year-old man, I’m not going to give you any more clout or hype. In a 4-minute fight tonight, I got more hype than you did in your entire Misfits career, and more clout than you got in a season of Grind Island.
“Your time is up Pinocchio. NO NO CHAMAT.”
DeMoor beating Andrew Tate earned him a lot of brownie points from us, but we’re not sure he’s interested in fighting Cruz after seeing what Pereira’s trainer did to his trainer. Cruz’s natural speaking ability during and after fight week was also quite intimidating. We’d love to err and see DeMour fight Cruz. Whatever happens, we’ll be paying attention no matter who Plinio Cruz fights.
