October 1: Panathinaikos of the Greek Super League has announced a strategic partnership with Playmobil, one of the most recognized and loved toy companies in the world.
Currently at the top of the Greek top flight, Panathinaikos are one of the most reputable names in the country, despite a 16-year title drought in the Greek Super League. The collaboration will bring them together with another powerful brand.
“Far beyond a traditional commercial deal, this long-term partnership will extend over the next two-and-a-half years, developing through a range of innovative initiatives and activities for fans of all ages,” a club statement said.
“Throughout the collaboration, fans will enjoy exclusive experiences, collectable releases and special joint activations, with further details to be progressively revealed through official club and company channels.”
Playmobil is one of the most iconic toy brands in the world, produced by the German company Brandstätter Group and headquartered in Zirndorf, Germany, the brand has manufactured more than 3.8 billion figures and covers more than 40 themed worlds distributed in approximately 100 countries.
This historic partnership coincides with a pivotal time in the club’s modern history, aligning with major upcoming milestones such as the transition to Panathinaikos’ new stadium and the club’s 120th anniversary celebrations.
