WWE NXT star Keanu Carver has reportedly been ordered by a Florida court to have no contact with another NXT talent who filed an order of protection against him, and his current status with WWE is unknown.
POST Wrestling reports that the unnamed talent accused Carver, real name Kevin Roberston, of stalking and harassment. According to a POST report citing a petition filed by the talent, Carver and the talent previously dated, and after they broke up, he continued to make unwanted visits to the talent’s home, as well as making 44 unwanted calls to the talent a day. Plaintiff stated that Carver threatened and insulted her during their relationship.
The NXT talent sought an order of protection on September 14th, and a temporary injunction was granted the same day. Carver allegedly showed up at Talent’s home on Sept. 13, threatened to harm her and refused to leave until Talent called the police. According to POST, that temporary order was continued until the next court hearing on October 20.
POST noted that a protection order is a civil matter, even though stalking is a criminal offense in the state. The newspaper reports that a local police official could not say whether or not charges will be filed against Carver because the investigation is ongoing.
Carver last wrestled at an NXT house show on September 12 The last telefight took place on September 8where he lost in a six-man match to determine who would go on to compete in a triple threat to determine the next #1 contender to the NXT Championship. POST Wrestling was unable to clarify Carver’s status with WWE, including whether he may be at the WWE Performance Center, as WWE did not respond to a request for comment.
