Nottingham Forest will be hoping to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend when they host Arsenal this afternoon.
It has been a slow start for new manager Oliver Glasner and although his side played well on their return to Selhurst Park, they fell to their third defeat in six games and began this clash inside the relegation zone.
Arsenal have responded impressively since hammering Brighton on 19 September. They came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 at the Emirates and then swept Lille 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday. It was scoreless at half-time, but Jurriën Timber, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka scored in seven minutes of the second half. That made it 14 consecutive wins in the Champions League stage, and Arsenal are now level with Barcelona and Sporting CP at the top of the table.
“We have responded very well in the last two games, two very good performances and results, and now we are just focusing on the game against Forest, which I know will be very tough,” said boss Mikel Arteta.
