The Houston Texans face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 of the AFC Playoff hopes, and the Texans need a win to avoid an 0-2 start.
But they could be without wide receiver Nico Collins, who is “at risk” after suffering a hamstring injury in the game.
According to Adam Schefter, Collins suffered an abdominal injury during the team’s practice and met with doctors after the session. While doctors “don’t think it’s serious,” Schefter’s report says he’s “at risk” of missing Sunday’s game against the Bengals.
Collins was “limited” in practice on Wednesday.
Houston wide receiver CJ Stroud was targeted ten times in Texas’ Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills, catching seven of those targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. Houston lost to the Bills in Week 1 by a final score of 36-31, falling to 0-1 on the young season.
This is a developing story and will evolve.
