WWE: It debuted on Netflix in January 2025bringing its weekly television content, as well as its premium live events, to those outside the US. Those inside can watch its flagship show, WWE Raw, every Monday.
during interview with “The Varsity”. WWE President Nick Khan has commented on what kind of data WWE expects to see about its shows on Netflix. Fans can see a Weekly WWE Raw viewership breakdownboth globally and domestically every week but only if the show makes it into the top 10 on English TV. Khan said WWE’s higher-ups are curious to know “all that stuff.”
“We want to see the viewers live. We want to know within the first 24 hours,” he said. “Views in the first week. WWE is one of those few products where you don’t really have to watch it live because it’s not as clear as, say, the NBA…WWE is different because it’s just, ‘Oh, Roman Reigns won this match.’ “How did he win the match? What’s the story behind it? What was the result after the game?’
Khan said they also want to know which countries the deal works best in, and Netflix actually gave WWE what he called “a great note.” He said if they’re in a place like Spain for one night, the viewership in the country obviously increases, but if they’re there for longer, viewers know the company has “boots on the ground.”
“It’s not just an American company delivering American content,” he said. “What I no longer believe is us. It’s a global company that strives to have a global footprint.”
