Every game is important in the NFL, but Week 6 will be heard. Really It’s important to many teams in the league right now. The first season was defined less by who was the greatest, and more by the teams we locked into being competitive — or at least the established playoff teams, many of whom really struggled.
We’ve gotten to the point where we’ve had unexpected firings for several head coaches around the NFL. These games are the most popular online, and they’re where we’ll focus our picks this week. Kicking things off we have the Texans and Jaguars on Sunday. It’s too early to say if DeMeco Ryans is really in trouble, but if the Texans continue to languish in the AFC South basement with the Titans, the waters will start to heat up. This group is behind, and can not afford losses.
Then there’s the Panthers and the Eagles, and Ho’s friend is in a bad mood right now in Philadelphia. Nick Sirianni’s team has been struggling in every game, and now they face a Carolina team that has lost several key players. The panel is split on this game, but it’s crucial to keep the Eagles’ season alive.
One is undoubtedly with the Chiefs and Chargers. Jim Harbaugh’s team is a disaster, and barring a big surprise, they will continue to lose. Everything is wrong on that team, and whether it’s Mike McDonald or Harbaugh himself, someone could be fired on Monday.
Here are our picks for Week 6.
